Quality Technician

Quality Technician – 1st Shift
Pay: Low $20s/hr
Location: Statesville, NC

A manufacturing company is hiring a Quality Technician to support production and quality operations within the facility. This role focuses on inspecting parts and products, supporting quality processes, and helping resolve manufacturing quality issues.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform inspections on parts and products during production using CMM equipment
• Complete inspection reports and documentation
• Assist with capability studies and gage R&R studies
• Support corrective actions and continuous improvement projects
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Work closely with production and quality teams to resolve issues

Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED
• Experience with CMM equipment and quality inspection processes
• Knowledge of metric measurements, GD&T, PPAP, layout inspection, and corrective actions
• Understanding of quality systems such as ISO or IATF standards preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Preferred:
• Hexagon Scanning Arm experience is a plus

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with noise, heat, dust, and PPE requirements

This position is ideal for someone with manufacturing quality experience who is detail-oriented and comfortable working directly on the production floor.
