Fundraising Officer II - Events (2-year contract, renewable)

The Fundraising Officer II – Events is responsible for the implementation, evaluation, documentation and other post event follow ups of the fundraising events/activities delegated to her/him.

· To support and execute the development and implementation of the fundraising events/activities under his or her responsibility

· To lead on the implementation of some small-scale events

· To recruit and service participants and volunteers

· To support the solicitation of sponsors and to service them thereafter

· To source for venues and propose the layouts

· To provide administrative and logistical support such as database management, receipting, printed materials, souvenir production, logistics arrangements, IT-related matters, and briefings for key stakeholders

· To maintain proper records and document good practices

· To take part and take turn to be secretary of the monthly Events Team meeting

· To take part in the OHK staff meeting monthly and agency-wide events

· To take on additional tasks and assignments as required

· Degree holder, with at least 3 years’ relevant working experience in events, fundraising, or marketing. Experience in organising events of large scale would be an advantage

· Able to meet tight deadlines and working under a roster, including working on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays as required

· Good customer service, interpersonal and organisational skills; detail oriented, work flexibly, creatively

· Experience in social media content creation, including video production and post writing, would be an advantage

· Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, and fluent Putonghua

· Proficient in computer applications including MS Office and Chinese word processing

· AI literate with basic knowledge of AI tools

· Identification with Oxfam’s mission and vision is a must
