- Non-union plant — union experience is NOT required
- Hands-on plant HR leadership experience is REQUIRED
- Supervisory experience strongly preferred
- Lead 1 direct report — HR Generalist
- Key member of the Plant Leadership Team
- Strategic + tactical HR responsibility
- Partner with the Plant Manager and leadership team on HR strategy and workforce planning
- Lead employee relations, performance management, talent development and engagement
- Own recruiting, selection, onboarding and workforce development
- Develop training programs, matrices and plans aligned with automotive manufacturing requirements
- Monitor HR KPIs, metrics and compliance
- Support compensation, benefits, HRIS and payroll processes
- Manage workers' compensation, safety programs and return-to-work initiatives
- Ensure compliance with federal, state and company policies
- Drive a positive, high-performance plant culture
- Bachelor's degree required; PHR/SHRM certification preferred
- 5+ years of HR management experience in manufacturing
- Automotive manufacturing experience strongly preferred
- Strong employee relations and plant-floor HR expertise
- Business acumen with the ability to influence leaders at all levels
- Experience within a global/matrix organization
- Working knowledge of HRIS and payroll systems
