If you're an experienced Legal Assistant looking for somewhere you can genuinely settle in for the long term, this could be worth a look.
 
I'm working with a well-established national law firm that has continued to grow significantly over the past year. They're looking to add experienced Legal Assistants across their Insurance & Health teams in Brisbane, with both smaller and larger team environments available.
 
You'll be supporting solicitors and Principals across insurance matters, with a mix of file management, billing, correspondence, court documentation, briefing counsel and experts, diary management and general legal administration.
 
What we're looking for
 
You'll ideally have previous experience within personal injury, insurance or litigation. Defendant experience would be great, but it's not essential. If you've worked on the plaintiff side and are interested in making the move across, they're very open to that and will provide training around their processes.
 
More importantly, they're looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in a Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary role
• Comfortable managing files, billing and supporting multiple solicitors
• Organised, proactive and someone who takes ownership of their work
• Warm and personable, with strong communication skills
• Collaborative and comfortable working as part of a team
• Looking for a long-term move rather than the next role on the CV

Tenure is important here, so if you're someone who has built strong relationships and stayed with previous firms, that will definitely be valued.
