About the Role

The school is seeking a passionate and collaborative HPE Teacher to join the team for a fixed-term leave replacement position for the remainder of 2026.

The successful educator will contribute positively to the school community while delivering engaging Health and Physical Education programs that support student learning, wellbeing, participation, and personal development.

Skills and Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging Health and Physical Education teaching and learning programs
  • Promote student wellbeing, participation, and healthy lifestyle choices
  • Monitor, assess, and report on student progress and achievement
  • Implement effective classroom management and student wellbeing practices
  • Contribute positively to a collaborative and supportive staff culture

Requirements

  • Registration with or eligibility for Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
  • Full Australian work rights
  • Ability to provide two professional referees
  • Completion of HARKE onboarding requirements relating to safeguarding and compliance
