PMO – Programme Management Office / Banking / Financial Services / 80k-100k

I am currently helping our Client seeking a PMO candidate to join the team in Hong Kong.

Role

  • Establish and uphold portfolio, program and project governance and reporting guidelines
  • Monitor completeness and assure quality of project managers’ reporting on project status, risk, issues, milestones
  • Establish and Implement methodologies to monitor project timescales, risk, issues, dependences, milestones, costs, benefits and change controls
  • Ensure the successful implementation of PMO Governance to adhere to Change Framework process within portfolios
  • Provide support to project setup, on-going tracking and closure activities, act as the independent facilitator for project post implementation review
  • Provide advisory to project managers on project governance and reporting
  • Establish frameworks and standards for PMO that can be issued to regions/teams
  • Work with Regional/Country PMO to approve and challenge submissions around status reporting, risks, issues, dependencies and budget. Creating meaningful insights on overall performance

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, business transformation and PMO models and operating model deployments
  • Excellent analytical skills and strategic business insight to understand complex challenges and facilitate workable solutions
  • Proven ability to influence, negotiate and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels across cross-geographical teams
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and experience interfacing with stakeholders at all levels
  • Proven experience of designing and implementing process improvement at Portfolios or Programmes
  • Ability to demonstrate what is important in ensuring successful delivery of projects across various phases and the ability to flex your approach to the different challenges faced
