They’re now looking for an Engineering Inspector to join their Engineering team and play a critical role in ensuring construction quality and compliance across active building sites.

The Opportunity
Reporting to the Engineering Manager and working autonomously across residential construction sites, you will conduct inspections, provide clear quality feedback and partner closely with engineering & construction teams to ensure works meet requirements.
Most inspections will be completed across the South and Western corridors, allowing you to remain connected to your local project portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct quality control inspections across active construction sites
- Complete inspections across:
- Footings
- Slab on ground
- Frame inspections
- Swimming pools
- Corefill
- Retaining walls
- Suspended concrete slabs (desirable, not essential)
- Undertake pre-design inspections (desirable, not essential)
- Complete inspection reporting and documentation through Salesforce
- Identify defects or non-conformances and communicate required rectifications
- Coordinate re-inspections where required and provide timely updates to construction teams
- Support quality, safety and compliance outcomes across all inspection activities
About You
You are someone who enjoys being out in the field and takes genuine pride in delivering quality outcomes. You understand that inspections are about more than identifying issues, they’re about building trusted relationships, providing practical advice and helping projects keep moving.
- Experience within construction inspections, building inspections, engineering inspections or a similar site-based role
- Strong understanding of residential construction methods and quality standards
- Ability to confidently assess works and communicate outcomes to stakeholders
- Comfortable using digital systems and completing inspection documentation
- High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering consistent, high-quality work
- Strong organisation and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple sites
- A collaborative approach and willingness to support both customers and internal teams to achieve successful project outcomes
