THE TEAM YOU WILL BE JOINING

  • Join the technical training organization of a large, established energy and utilities company supporting enterprise-wide technical training, progression, and continuing education programs.

  • Work closely with training leadership, instructors, LMS Administrators, internal stakeholders, and other training organizations to support the successful execution of training initiatives.

  • Serve as a key Learning Management System subject matter expert and super user, helping ensure training programs are configured, maintained, tracked, and delivered accurately.

  • Partner with stakeholders across the organization to improve how LMS tools, processes, reporting, and documentation are used to support employee development and compliance requirements.

  • These positions will provide dedicated LMS expertise to a training organization responsible for supporting a large and complex employee population.

LOCATION

  • Charlotte, NC or Raleigh, NC

  • Office-based position with no field work, physical labor, PPE, or driving requirements.

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT

  • The Learning Management System is critical to the successful delivery and tracking of technical training, progression, and continuing education programs across the organization.

  • You will serve as the LMS super user, providing the technical knowledge needed to keep training programs running accurately and consistently.

  • Own ongoing LMS configuration changes, validation activities, maintenance tasks, quality assurance testing, and advanced troubleshooting.

  • Provide guidance to LMS Administrators and internal stakeholders on system functionality, permissions, processes, and best practices.

  • Help ensure LMS changes and application implementations are thoroughly tested before and after deployment.

  • Develop and maintain documentation that creates consistency around LMS administration and supports future system changes.

  • Build custom reports and analytics around completion rates, assessment results, participant feedback, and overall course effectiveness.

  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows and recommend system or process solutions based on the needs of training teams and LMS users.

  • Support SharePoint sites, internal training portals, and additional programs that help instructors and internal customers access critical training information.

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS

  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience or equivalent job-related experience.

  • Associate's degree or higher.

  • Hands-on experience using a Learning Management System in an administrative capacity.

  • Demonstrated Cornerstone LMS experience with the ability to configure, maintain, validate, troubleshoot, and support LMS functionality.

  • Experience serving as an LMS Administrator, LMS super user, LMS Analyst, Training Systems Specialist, or similar role.

  • Experience performing LMS testing and quality assurance related to system enhancements, configuration changes, or application implementations.

  • Ability to understand user needs, analyze issues, organize requirements, and recommend effective system or process solutions.

  • Experience creating custom LMS reports and analytics to track areas such as training completion, assessment results, participation, and course effectiveness.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple complex priorities and changing deliverables.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to provide guidance and technical support to stakeholders at different levels of the organization.

  • Strong customer-service mindset and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Self-directed with strong attention to detail and the ability to take ownership of assigned responsibilities.

  • Experience with SharePoint and internal training or content portals is beneficial.

  • Experience with e-learning tools such as Articulate 360, Camtasia, Adobe Photoshop, or similar platforms is preferred.

  • Experience with e-learning design and development methodologies is preferred.

  • Experience facilitating workshops, training sessions, or small-to-medium group discussions is a plus.
