Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Instrumentation Engineer to work within a collaborative and inclusive team environment. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, verifying, and delivering instrumentation and control systems for both greenfield and brownfield projects. You will lead project scopes, provide technical expertise, and ensure all engineering activities meet safety, regulatory, and client standards. Required Skills:

• Recognized engineering degree in instrumentation, control engineering, or a related discipline, with eligibility for membership with Engineers Australia
• Extensive experience in instrumentation and controls engineering within the energy, chemicals, or resources industries
• Proven track record in delivering multi-disciplinary projects, especially in brownfield environments
• Strong understanding of engineering design, technical verification, and project documentation (datasheets, specifications, drawings, calculations)
• Ability to manage and coordinate engineering resources to meet project deadlines and budgets
• Experience in procurement support, including technical bid evaluations and requisition writing
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) considerations integrated into design processes
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management experience

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with mining or mineral processing projects
• Current FSEng qualifications
• Experience working with diverse, multi-location teams and mentoring team members

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent
• Significant practical experience in instrumentation and control system design and project delivery
• Prior experience managing or leading scopes within large-scale engineering projects
• Familiarity with industry standards, codes, and regulations related to instrumentation engineering

• Valid, unrestricted working rights in Australia
• Flexibility to work in hybrid or remote arrangements as part of a supportive, flexible working environment
