Project Manager

PARTNER Executive is pleased to be supporting our client in the search for a senior Construction Project Manager to take full ownership of a major remote project valued at $80M+. This is a genuine project leadership appointment, not a coordinator-style role, for someone with the instincts, presence and commercial sharpness to drive a sophisticated, multi-front project with confidence.

This is a demanding environment: multiple concurrent work fronts, staged construction, significant refurbishment within an operating facility, live operational interfaces, and sophisticated client and consultant stakeholders, backed by a large volume of externally developed architectural and engineering documentation. Sequencing, planning, interfaces and responsiveness are everything, and the successful candidate will effectively live in the programme.

The Opportunity:

• Take complete ownership of delivery, safety, quality, schedule, cost and team morale on a single, fully dedicated $80M+ remote project.
• Lead a full, properly resourced project team, Project Engineers, Project Controllers, Schedulers, QA and HSE personnel, Supervisors, multiple Site Managers, Contract Administration support and a Commercial Manager.
• Drive programme development, sequencing and schedule management across multiple simultaneous work fronts.
• Operate at a sophisticated level of client and stakeholder management, with strong commercial control and awareness throughout.
• Perth-based, with regular multi-day site visits each fortnight.
• Suited to a confident, composed leader with 10+ years' construction experience, strong commercial acumen, and a proven track record delivering large, complex, highly coordinated projects, backgrounds in remote/mining infrastructure, accommodation villages, industrial, defence or sophisticated commercial construction all welcome.
