Job Description:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
MUST HAVE EXPEIRANCE IN PHARMACEUTICAL OR NUTRACEUTIAL
- Manages the QC operations to assure quality in all aspects of the operation is met and assured. Provide day-to-day leadership to the QC personnel and strive to meet all quality goals.
- Manages the Quality Control Staff in carrying out tests and checks;
- Analyzes quality control test results and provides feedback to all relevant organizational departments and customers as needed;
- Monitors performance of quality control systems to ensure effectiveness and efficiency;
- Approves product specifications Including Raw Materials, Components, and finished products;
- Approves of raw materials product in process and release of finished goods;
- Implements of the Calibration program of the laboratory equipment, and production measurement instruments; and
- Acts as the main contact with outsourced laboratories and calibration/certification service companies.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have a BA or BS Degree, Chemistry / Biology or related Sciences, preferred MA or MS Chemistry / Biology or related Sciences.
- Must have at least 5 years of quality assurance & analytical supervisory skills in a CGMP environment or manufacturing facility.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Must be able to effectively lead and motivate others.
- Must have experience with GMP regulations.
