Facilities Associate

Our client, a global retail brand, is looking for a Temporary Facilities Associate to join their team in Vineland, NJ. This position offers a safe, clean, and collaborative work environment. We are looking for someone who is highly self-motivated that can take direction and work independently. This role involves performing a variety of cleaning tasks, minor maintenance work, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Shift time: 9:30am-6:00pm
Training hours: 7:00am-3:30pm

Job Duties Include:

• Maintain cleanliness of the building-daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing restrooms, etc.
• Empty trash receptacles and disposal of waste in designated areas
• Replenish supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper in restrooms and kitchens
• Clean and polish furniture, fixtures, and fittings
• Perform minor maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, tightening screws, minor repairs, etc.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of furniture and equipment for meetings or events
• Assist with Warehouse project as needed
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies
• Use cleaning chemicals and supplies safely in accordance with proper cleaning techniques
• Ensure cleaning equipment is maintained in good working condition
• Report maintenance issues or any know safety hazards after inspection of facility
• Ad hoc duties as needed and assigned

Job Qualifications Include:

• Highschool graduate or equivalent
• 1+ years of prior custodial or janitorial experience is preferred
• Basic knowledge of proper use of cleaning products, techniques, and equipment
• Ability to perform minor maintenance tasks
• Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and walk/stand for duration of shift
• Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
• Strong follow through with ability to work well in independently

Compensation: $16/hr

The employee will be employed and paid by PCG.
