We're looking for a Team Leader to join a busy Decorator Centre in Melville. This role is ideal for someone with a background in painting, paint retail or trade supplies who enjoys working with people and wants to share their knowledge in a leadership position.

You'll support both trade and DIY customers, lead a close-knit team and help keep the store running smoothly every day.

About the role You'll be involved in all aspects of the store, including:
  • Leading and supporting a small team
  • Assisting painters, builders and DIY customers with product advice
  • Tinting and mixing paint to customer specifications
  • Managing stock, merchandising and store presentation
  • Maintaining a safe and organised work environment
  • Building strong relationships with local trade customers
  • Helping drive a positive customer experience every day
About you You'll bring:
  • Experience as a qualified painter, paint specialist or within a paint, hardware or trade retail environment
  • Leadership or supervisory experience, or the confidence to step into your first leadership role
  • A genuine passion for customer service and helping others
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • A hands-on attitude and willingness to support the team wherever needed
  • Basic computer skills and a current driver's licence
