About the Company
Our client is an established air-conditioning and refrigeration contractor delivering installation, servicing and maintenance solutions. Due to an upcoming team transition, they are seeking an organised Scheduling Coordinator to support their technicians, apprentices, customers and suppliers.
About the Role
This position coordinates the daily activities of the field team while ensuring labour, materials and equipment are available for each job.
- Managing daily schedules for technicians and apprentices
- Communicating job requirements to the field team
- Coordinating appointment times with customers
- Reviewing site and mechanical plans to identify equipment requirements
- Coordinating materials and equipment for upcoming projects
- Obtaining and reviewing supplier and subcontractor quotations
- Researching competitive material pricing and service providers
- Preparing repair and maintenance quotations from service reports
- Monitoring warehouse consumables and stock levels
- Receiving and checking warehouse deliveries
- Building productive relationships with suppliers
- Coordinating project deliveries and resource allocation
- Recommending improvements to scheduling, quoting and sales processes
Skills and Experience
- Experience within air conditioning, refrigeration or electrical services
- Previous scheduling, service coordination or trade-administration experience
- Strong organisation and time-management skills
- Confidence communicating with technicians, customers and suppliers
- Experience coordinating materials, purchasing or stock
- The ability to interpret basic site or mechanical plans
- Quoting experience or the ability to learn
- Strong computer and administrative skills
- A trade qualification is not required.
