Senior Project Manager

Civil Engineering / Water & Wastewater Infrastructure

Location: Cork, Kerry or Limerick
Salary: €80,000–€120,000 DOE
Working Arrangement: Full-time, site-based

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager on behalf of a leading civil engineering and infrastructure contractor delivering major water and wastewater projects across Ireland.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong construction professional with a background in site engineering to take full ownership of a major project from initial groundwork's through to completion.

Our client specialises in complex infrastructure projects, including wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, pipeline networks, drainage systems and associated civil engineering works.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the project from initial site setup through to completion and handover.

  • Lead site teams, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers.

  • Oversee construction programmes, budgets, resources and procurement.

  • Ensure works are delivered safely, on schedule and to specification.

  • Maintain high standards of quality, health and safety, and environmental compliance.

  • Manage project reporting, commissioning and final handover.

Requirements

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.

  • Strong background in site engineering, with progression into project management.

  • Proven experience delivering civil engineering or infrastructure projects.

  • Excellent understanding of construction methodologies, groundworks and site operations.

  • Experience managing site teams, subcontractors, programmes and budgets.

  • Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

  • A hands-on approach and willingness to work full-time on site.

Experience in water and wastewater infrastructure, pipelines, pumping stations or treatment facilities would be highly advantageous.
