Interim AP Specialist

EMEA Recruitment is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable professional for an initial four-month project with an international organization in Amsterdam.

The assignment will focus specifically on a UK Accounts Payable continuity and stabilization project, ensuring critical AP processes remain controlled and effective during a period of transition, while leaving the team with improved processes and clear handover documentation.

Interim Accounts Payable Project
Amsterdam/Hybrid - 4 Months

Project deliverables will include:

• Assessing and stabilizing key AP processes for the UK entity, including vendor reconciliations, outstanding discrepancies, statement analysis and payment preparation

• Reviewing AP workflows and controls, including SOX requirements, and resolving process gaps or recurring exceptions with relevant stakeholders

• Identifying practical process improvements and documenting key findings, actions and ways of working to support a structured handover at the end of the project

We’re looking for an experienced AP specialist with advanced SAP knowledge who can quickly assess the current environment, take ownership of the agreed project scope and work independently to deliver against defined outcomes.
