Business Development Manager Location: Nottinghamshire Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 per annum Drive Growth. Build Partnerships. Make a Difference. Key Responsibilities Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities across health and social care markets. Build and maintain strong relationships with local authorities, commissioners, healthcare professionals, case managers, and key stakeholders. Increase referral streams through proactive networking, relationship management, and market engagement. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities and emerging trends. Support tender submissions, proposals, and presentations to prospective commissioners and partners. Collaborate with operational teams to ensure business development activities align with service delivery capabilities and organisational values. Represent the organisation at networking events, industry forums, exhibitions, and stakeholder meetings. Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve growth objectives. Monitor performance against targets and provide regular reporting on business development activity. Promote a culture of person-centred care, quality, and continuous improvement throughout all partnership activities. What We're Looking For Proven business development experience within the health, social care, supported living, domiciliary care, complex care, or related sectors. Strong understanding of commissioning processes and referral pathways. Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills. Commercial awareness with the ability to identify and convert growth opportunities. Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities. Self-motivated, organised, and results-driven approach. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required. Benefits Competitive salary of £40,000 - £55,000.
