With an established presence internationally and significant investment being made into the Australian market, they are entering an exciting period of growth and are seeking an experienced Architectural & Design Specification Manager to help drive the next phase of their expansion across New South Wales.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Australian leadership team, you'll become the face of the brand within the Sydney architectural and design community.

Your focus will be on developing long-term relationships with Architects, Interior Designers, Design Practices, Project Managers and key influencers, ensuring the company's premium product range is specified into major projects from concept through to completion.

Working collaboratively with internal sales teams and project stakeholders, you'll identify opportunities early in the design process, provide technical product expertise and help convert specifications into successful commercial outcomes.

This is a genuine business development role where relationships, credibility and strategic account management are critical to success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and strengthen relationships across Sydney's Architectural & Design community.
  • Secure product specifications on commercial construction and refurbishment projects.
  • Identify opportunities early in the design lifecycle.
  • Deliver engaging CPD presentations and product education sessions.
  • Manage major design practices and key specification accounts.
  • Collaborate with contractors, developers, builders and internal sales teams to maximise specification conversion.
  • Maintain a strong project pipeline through effective CRM and market intelligence.
  • Represent the business at industry events and networking functions.
About You

We're looking for someone who understands the specification sales process and has established relationships within Sydney's architectural and design market.
You'll ideally bring:
  • Proven success within an Architectural & Design Specification role.
  • Experience selling premium interior building products, commercial interiors, flooring, ceilings, wall finishes, lighting, furniture, acoustic solutions or related specification-led products.
  • Strong relationships with Architects, Interior Designers and key design consultancies.
  • Excellent commercial acumen and influencing skills.
  • A consultative and solution-focused sales approach.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects across various sectors.
