The role
Reporting into a Payroll Manager in a team of 5, key responsibilities will include:
- Processing new hires, terminations, and employee changes
- End-to-end monthly payroll processing
- Reviewing weekly payroll from another team member
- Managing payroll queries relating to superannuation, TFN, leave entitlements, and general payroll matters
- Interpreting relevant awards, EBAs, and payroll legislation
- Maintaining accurate payroll records and employee data, including all leave types
- Assisting with payroll reporting and compliance obligations
- Supporting continuous improvement across payroll processes and systems
Skills & experience
- a Minimum of 3 years experience in payroll, additional HR experience will be highly regarded
- Strong communication an interpersonal skills
- Systems savvy
- Experience with process improvement initiatives highly regarded
