A leading nonprofit healthcare organization in northwest Indiana, just 30 miles southeast of downtown Chicago, is seeking a BE/BC Palliative Care Physician (Internal Medicine or Family Medicine) to join its growing Hospice & Palliative Care program


Position Highlights:
  • Full-time Palliative Care opportunity
  • Practice across two hospital campuses in northwest Indiana
  • Average of 2 outpatient clinic days per week, based on patient volume
  • Inpatient-focused practice with an average daily census of 6 patients
  • Average outpatient volume of 5–6 patients per week
  • Shared inpatient-only call rotation: 1:4 (weeknights and weekends)
  • Collaborate with an experienced interdisciplinary team of physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, specialists, social workers, and an onsite chaplain
  • National Catholic Bioethics certification provided
  • Mission-driven program dedicated to compassionate, patient-centered hospice and palliative care
  • Supportive, collegial practice environment focused on collaboration and quality care


Qualifications:

  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
  • Eligibility for Palliative Care practice
  • Eligible for an Indiana medical license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Passion for providing compassionate, patient-centered care
  • Excellent communication and collaborative practice skills
