Is the specific state license required? Yes, AR
Dates of Coverage needed: 2-3 days per week, ASAP through 2+ months (until a perm is hired). Can be flexible on the days of coverage – will work out the schedule with DOP
Coverage Hours needed: M-Th 8a-530p, Friday 8a-1p
Is weekend coverage needed? no
Will this person need to take on-call? no
Order Entry System: Medhost, onsite training available
Site Automation: Pyxis Es, no experience necessary
Site Specialty Areas: Acute care hospital with medsurg, icu, women’s health
Staff Size: Currently 1 full time pharmacist and 1 technician
Job responsibilities: Order verification, iv compounding, oversight of technicians
Tech support: technicians refill pyxis, pull out of date meds, crash cart checks, med area inspections, and unit dose.
How many days of training/orientation are required prior to start? 2 or 3
Addition info: There is a Hampton Inn just around the corner from the hospital if needed
Dress Code: ceil blue scrubs or business casual
