About the Role
The College is seeking a Religious Education Teacher to join its teaching team from Term 1, 2027.
The successful teacher will deliver engaging Religious Education programs and support students in exploring faith, values, ethics and Catholic tradition. The College is looking for someone who can build positive relationships with students and contribute to its broader faith and pastoral community.
Skills and Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned Religious Education lessons.

Encourage thoughtful discussion around faith, values, ethics and contemporary issues.

Assess student learning and provide meaningful feedback.

Build positive relationships and maintain a well-managed classroom environment.

Maintain high standards of student safeguarding and wellbeing.

Contribute positively to the Catholic identity and wider life of the College.
Requirements

Current VIT registration or eligibility to obtain VIT

Relevant secondary teaching qualifications

Ability to teach Religious Education

Strong classroom management and communication skills

Willingness to actively support the Catholic ethos and values of the College
