Our client is a well-established and rapidly growing business with a strong reputation for quality within their industry. Due to continued expansion, they are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their finance team.
Reporting to the Financial Director, the successful candidate will take ownership of both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions while supporting the wider finance team across month-end and reporting activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Full Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processing
Supplier account setup and query resolution
Supplier and bank reconciliations
Credit control and management of aged debtors
Daily allocation of incoming payments
Month-end close activities including journals and P&L review
Bank account management and reconciliations
Assistance with finance projects and process improvements
Ad hoc finance duties as required
Ideal Candidate:
Experience in a high-volume finance environment
Strong AP/AR and credit control background
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple tasks
