Grounds Crew

Location: Central Tucson
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Mornings
Requirements: Grounds/Landscaping experience
Duties & Responsibilities

• Mow lawns; trim weeds, bushes, shrubs, and hedges; rake leaves as assigned

• Remove debris and trash from designated areas prior to mowing

• Empty and maintain trash and recycling containers

• Prepare soil and plant flowers, shrubs, hedges, and trees

• Prune and maintain trees; cut and remove trees as needed

• Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides according to direction and safety guidelines

• Operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment

• Perform additional landscaping and groundskeeping duties as assigned

Skills & Abilities

• Proficient in operating power equipment (lawnmowers, trimmers, hedge trimmers, leaf blowers)

• Skilled in the use of hand tools for landscaping and grounds maintenance

• Strong understanding of landscaping techniques and best practices

• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks independently or as part of a team

• Excellent time management and task prioritization skills
