The Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager as the Roadside Mechanic you will provide roadside diagnostics, mechanical & electrical repairs and assistance to customers.

Due to the nature of the role, there is an element of shift work involved, and you are compensated here with shift allowance and overtime when working outside of standard working hours.

As you’ll be working on your own you need to enjoy working independently and be able to make sound decisions in a roadside environment.

Requirements

  • QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate in Motor Mechanics or equivalent.
  • Completed motor mechanic apprenticeship.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills.
  • Full Category B driving licence (BE licence desirable).
  • My client is very open to look at both new qualified mechanics as well as more experienced candidates who might be looking for a slightly less pressurised role than working in a busy workshop.
