My client, a well-established Irish business that has experienced significant growth in recent years, is looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join their collaborative and expanding team in their offices based on the outskirts of Cork City.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a long-term career within supply chain, gaining exposure to planning, customer operations, supplier coordination and international supply chain activities. My client is an industry leader and continues to grow by delivering innovative solutions to customers across international markets.

The Responsibilities for the Supply Chain Coordinator include:

  • Coordinate purchase orders from placement through to invoicing, ensuring customer demand is met.
  • Monitor order backlogs and proactively identify any supply issues.
  • Review inventory levels and customer usage to support replenishment planning.
  • Support supply planning by identifying where additional purchase orders are required.
  • Approve commercial invoices against supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate inbound collections from suppliers and monitor deliveries through to customer receipt.
  • Track shipments and provide accurate delivery updates to internal teams and customers.
  • Produce reports relating to supply, backlog and customer orders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer accounts.
  • Coordinate customer delivery schedules and booking requirements.
  • Participate in regular customer meetings and provide ongoing order updates.
  • Benchmark transport providers and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Work closely with Planning, Finance and Account Management teams to ensure excellent customer service.

The requirements for the desired Supply Chain Coordinator include:

  • Experience in a Supply Chain, Planning, Customer Operations or Procurement Support role.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Experience working with ERP or supply chain systems.
  • High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
