Blade Grinder / Grinder Helper – Day Shift

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable, safety-focused Blade Grinder Helper to join a growing manufacturing team. This is an entry-level opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and is willing to learn.

The Blade Grinder Helper will assist with grinding and finishing metal blades, removing rough edges, and preparing completed parts for inspection.

Responsibilities

  • Grind and smooth metal blades using designated equipment
  • Remove burrs, sharp edges, and surface imperfections
  • Visually inspect blades for quality and consistency
  • Handle and move materials safely
  • Follow work instructions and production requirements
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Wear required personal protective equipment
  • Follow all company safety procedures
  • Assist other production team members as needed

Qualifications

  • Previous grinding or manufacturing experience is helpful but not required
  • Willingness to learn and receive hands-on training
  • Comfortable working with machinery and metal components
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to stand throughout the shift and perform repetitive tasks
  • Dependable attendance and reliable transportation
  • Ability to complete required pre-employment screening
