A leading Irish main contractor is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a major new education construction project in East Cork. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile, multi-million-euro development with a well-established contractor delivering quality projects nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting out and surveying works in accordance with drawings and specifications
- Coordinating site activities with project management and subcontractors
- Monitoring quality control and ensuring compliance with design requirements
- Managing site records, QA documentation, and as-built information
- Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained on site
- Liaising with design teams, consultants, and suppliers
- Supporting the Project Manager and Senior Engineer with programme delivery
Requirements
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline
- 2+ year's experience in a Site Engineer role with a main contractor or civil contractor
- Strong setting-out experience using GPS / Total Station equipment
- Experience on commercial, education, residential, or public sector projects advantageous
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Full clean driving licence
