We are seeking experienced Senior Regulatory Compliance Consultants to join a regulatory compliance uplift project within a leading Australian banking environment.

Working closely with Risk, Compliance, and Business stakeholders, you will be responsible for interpreting regulatory requirements, developing compliance obligations, and supporting control design activities.

We are seeking experienced Senior Regulatory Compliance Consultants to join a regulatory compliance uplift project within a leading Australian banking environment.
About the Role
Working closely with Risk, Compliance, and Business stakeholders, you will be responsible for interpreting regulatory requirements, developing compliance obligations, and supporting control design activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret Australian legislation and regulatory requirements applicable to banking.
- Translate complex regulatory obligations into clear, plain-English requirements.
- Support the development and maintenance of Compliance Plans and regulatory frameworks.
- Identify, document, and assess compliance obligations and associated controls.
- Partner with Line 1 and Line 2 Risk teams on control identification and design.
- 5+ years' experience in Compliance, Risk, Internal Audit, or External Audit within Banking or Financial Services.
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance frameworks and compliance plans.
- Demonstrated experience in obligations management and controls design.
- Experience working within Line 1 and/or Line 2 Risk functions.
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
