Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Planner focusing in managing, integrating, and assuring contractor schedules across mining infrastructure projects. The role is responsible for establishing and maintaining the owner's integrated master schedule (IMS), ensuring that contractor plans are realistic, aligned, and coordinated with broader project requirements.

Reporting to Manager Project Controls, you will:

• Develop, maintain, and control the owner's integrated master schedule (IMS) covering all project phases and workstreams.
• Integrate contractor schedules into the IMS, ensuring alignment of scope, logic, sequencing, and key milestones.
• Ensure all interfaces between contractors, packages, and operational constraints are captured and reflected in the schedule.
• Maintain schedule consistency across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in infrastructure planning, urban development, or related fields
• Solid understanding of civil engineering principles and infrastructure design standards
• Expertise in GIS tools, AutoCAD, or other planning and drafting software
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple initiatives
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking capabilities
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with stakeholders, contractors, and regulatory agencies
• Knowledge of environmental regulations and sustainable planning practices

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with transportation planning or utility networks
• Familiarity with funding strategies, grants, and budgeting for infrastructure projects
• Proficiency in sustainable design practices and green infrastructure solutions
• Prior experience working in government agencies or large municipalities

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, Environmental Science, or a related discipline (Master’s degree preferred)
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in infrastructure or urban planning roles, with a proven track record of successful project delivery

Other Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed
• Certifications such as AICP (American Institute of Certified Planners) or P.E. (Professional Engineer) are advantageous
