Summary
Operate equipment to form, cut, shape, mold, and finish automotive component parts in a team-oriented work cell.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate equipment, including presses, cutting, staking, and small mold equipment.
- Collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Maintain rate standards and document performance.
- Conduct visual inspections and maintain quality data.
- Ensure good housekeeping and adhere to safety precautions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
High school graduate or equivalent experience/training. Six months to one year of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Qualifications
Must have basic math skills, the ability to read and follow instructions, good attendance, dexterity, and coordination. Physical strength to assist as needed. Must complete on-the-job training promptly. Good communication skills and a positive attitude are essential. Flexibility to work overtime as required.
Physical Demands
Regular standing and walking are required. Frequent use of hands, reaching, speaking, hearing, and seeing. May involve infrequent lifting of up to 40 lbs.
$18.86 an hour.
Schedule- 1st Shift- 6:00 am - 2:30 pm or 7:00 am - 3:00 pm
