Our client is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join their growing Allied Health team, delivering mobile services across Residential Aged Care facilities and community settings throughout the Toowoomba region. Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive Occupational Therapy assessments and develop individualised treatment plans to support clients' independence, safety and wellbeing.
- Assess and prescribe equipment, mobility aids and home modifications, while delivering falls prevention, reablement and functional support programs.
- Provide client-centred services across residential aged care, community and telehealth settings, ensuring high-quality clinical outcomes.
- Collaborate with clients, families, care teams and healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated and effective care.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation, supervise Allied Health Assistants where required, and contribute to continuous improvement and clinical governance initiatives.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (or equivalent qualification).
- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience working within aged care, community health or rehabilitation settings will be highly regarded.
- Strong assessment, clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Current Driver's Licence and willingness to travel throughout the region.
- Passion for delivering person-centred care and improving outcomes for older Australians.
