An established critical care team just east of Hartford, Connecticut is seeking an experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality care to critically ill patients in an inpatient critical care setting.


Position Highlights:

  • Full-time, night shift position
  • Inpatient critical care setting
  • Collaborate with a strong team of Critical Care Intensivists
  • Provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients
  • Diagnose, treat and manage acute and chronic conditions
  • Perform procedures and order and interpret diagnostic testing
  • Communicate with patients and families regarding conditions and treatment plans
  • Collaborate with consultants and multidisciplinary care teams
  • Practice with the support of a dedicated Office of Advanced Practice
  • EPIC electronic medical record
  • Mentorship and orientation programs for newly hired providers

Qualifications:

  • Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
  • 1+ year of critical care experience as an advanced practice provider
  • Unrestricted Connecticut medical license or eligibility for licensure
