Our client, a successful and established media company, is looking for a passionate Java Developer (f/m/d) to join their dynamic team.

YOUR TASKS: 

  • Passionate about Java development and Spring Boot? Love working with microservices and modern technologies? Prefer a cross-functional, agile team? We are looking for you!
  • Our clients team continuously develops new features for our users, facilitating their daily email usage.
  • Develop and maintain Spring Boot-based microservices and deploy them on our in-house Kubernetes clusters.
  • Work on implementing new features across all our client systems for automated email processing, from the initial idea to the final release.
  • Create architecture spikes and proofs of concept for complex problems or high-risk systems, and evaluate new technologies.
  • Collaborate closely with various disciplines such as QA, spam experts, architects, and operational teams, contributing your ideas and expertise.
  • Stay updated on new technologies and participate in internal and external conferences.

YOUR PROFILE: 

  • Strong knowledge in object-oriented programming with Java and familiarity with web technologies like JSON or RESTful HTTP.
  • Experience with Spring Boot, NoSQL and SQL databases, microservices, containerized applications, and Kubernetes.
  • Competence in using Linux for development and server environments in high-load scenarios, as well as with distributed systems.
  • Experience with automated software quality assurance (unit testing, performance tests, acceptance tests) and agile development in a continuous delivery environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, openness to new ideas, and a passion for working in an agile team.
  • Good command of English is required, German is a plus.
