You will play a key role in ensuring product performance, customer satisfaction, and technical support excellence by troubleshooting hardware and software issues, coordinating with engineering teams, and supporting customers through complex technical challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for mining technology hardware and software systems.
- Investigate, diagnose, and resolve application, networking, and technical issues.
- Act as a technical liaison between customers, implementation teams, engineering, and support teams.
- Advocate for customers and escalate product issues to development and engineering teams when required.
- Participate in new product introduction (NPI) and product validation activities.
- Manage support cases through established incident and change management processes.
- Collaborate with global support teams to share knowledge and drive issue resolution.
- Maintain regular communication with customers regarding issue status, progress, and outcomes.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- The ability to build strong working relationships with customers, colleagues, and external partners.
- A proactive approach to issue resolution and continuous improvement.
- Degree qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Mining, or a related Engineering discipline.
- Experience supporting technology solutions in mining, industrial, manufacturing, or heavy industry environments.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, networking, and data communications.
- Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Familiarity with SQL Server, TCP/IP networking, and Microsoft platforms.
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics.
- Project management experience is highly regarded.
