Senior React Engineer

A Singapore-based software firm specializing in cloud-native applications and digital solutions. The company focuses on building scalable, customized platforms and helping businesses drive digital transformation through modern technologies and agile delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, review, and scale high-performance frontend systems across web and mobile platforms
• Ensure UI consistency, responsiveness, and accessibility across devices
• Act as a frontend subject matter expert across multiple teams
• Guide architecture decisions, design reviews, and technology evaluations
• Translate business and product requirements into scalable frontend solutions
• Build and maintain reusable UI components and design systems
• Promote efficiency, consistency, and quality across teams
• Define and enforce engineering standards, tools, and best practices
• Implement practices in performance monitoring, test automation, CI/CD, and accessibility
• Drive cross-platform deployment strategies
• Mentor engineers and lead knowledge-sharing initiatives
• Foster a collaborative, high-performing engineering culture

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field

Experience

• 8+ years of experience building large-scale frontend applications
• Strong experience in both React.js (web) and React Native (mobile)

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript
• Strong experience with:
  • React.js
  • React Native
  • Redux / Zustand
  • Next.js
  • Expo / Metro bundler
• Familiarity with modern frontend tooling and ecosystems

Architecture & Engineering

• Experience designing scalable and high-performance frontend architectures
• Knowledge of:
  • Mobile-web integration
  • Micro-frontend architecture
  • Offline-first capabilities
• Experience establishing:
  • Coding standards
  • CI/CD pipelines
  • Design system governance
  • Performance monitoring frameworks

Innovation & Risk Awareness

• Actively explores emerging UI/UX trends and frontend technologies
• Aligns solutions with business and user needs
• Anticipates UX risks and technical debt
• Designs for maintainability, accessibility, and observability
