Are you an experienced Technology Change Manager looking to support a high-profile Federal Government technology program? Working closely with the Program Director and broader delivery team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating and governing change activity to ensure technology changes are delivered smoothly, safely and with minimal disruption to business operations.

Working closely with the Program Director and broader delivery team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating and governing change activity to ensure technology changes are delivered smoothly, safely and with minimal disruption to business operations.
The opportunity
- 165 day contract
- Federal Government technology program
- Remote working supported, with occasional travel to Canberra
- Australian citizenship required - Security clearance highly regarded
- Lead and coordinate technology change governance across the program.
- Plan, assess and manage change requests from initiation through to implementation.
- Facilitate change and release management processes, including CAB activities.
- Work with internal stakeholders, vendors and delivery teams to ensure change activity is well planned, communicated and controlled.
- Identify, assess and manage risks associated with technology change.
- Oversee implementation activities to minimise disruption to business operations.
- Support incident, problem and post-implementation review activities.
- Maintain clear reporting, metrics and governance documentation.
- Proven experience in IT Service Management and technology change environments.
- Strong background across change and release management.
- Sound understanding of risk management within technology delivery.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and governance skills.
- Experience facilitating CAB processes and change governance forums.
- Knowledge of infrastructure, cloud and application delivery environments.
- Hands-on experience with Jira and ServiceNow.
- ITIL Foundation or Intermediate certification highly regarded.
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification.
- IBM Z Mainframe experience.
- Experience with IBM Z software products.
- Application development experience on IBM Z, including COBOL or PL/I.
