MAYDAY Recruitment is partnering with a leading property organisation to recruit an experienced Project Sales Manager for a new residential land development in Lismore.

Delivered in partnership with NSW Government departments and agencies, including the NSW Reconstruction Authority, the project forms part of the broader response to the significant flooding experienced in Lismore in 2021, providing new residential land and housing opportunities for flood-affected residents.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced land sales, project sales or new home sales professional to take ownership of the local sales function, work closely with prospective purchasers and stakeholders, and play a key role in bringing this important residential land development to market.

What's on Offer?

• 24-month contract
• Part time: 21 hours per week - both weekend and weekday work required; weekend availability is essential, with the potential to work both Saturday and Sunday when required.
• Start Date: Early November
• Based onsite in East Lismore

About the Role

As the Project Sales Manager, you'll be the key sales representative on the ground in Lismore, responsible for selling residential land and guiding prospective purchasers through the land selection and sales process.

You'll work through an existing database of approximately 600 flood-affected clients, helping eligible purchasers understand the available land and housing options, navigate the purchasing process and ultimately progress towards purchasing a residential lot.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Acting as the key local sales representative for the residential land development
• Managing and engaging with the existing database of prospective clients
• Managing residential land sales from initial enquiry and preference through to sale
• Guiding purchasers through the land selection and purchasing process
• Explaining the process of purchasing a residential lot and subsequently engaging a builder to construct their home
• Helping purchasers understand the relationship between the land purchase and their future home build
• Supporting community and stakeholder engagement activities
• Developing pre-market interest and building momentum ahead of each land release
• Coordinating sales activity across residential land and terrace housing
• Supporting marketing activity and broader project release campaigns
• Building strong relationships with senior development and project stakeholders
• Taking ownership of the customer experience and local sales activity

About You

To be successful, you'll have:

• Previous experience in land sales, project sales, new home sales or residential real estate
• A strong understanding of the residential land sales process
• Experience selling residential land to purchasers who will subsequently build their own home
• An understanding of the new-home construction process and the role of the builder following the land purchase
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
• The ability to communicate with empathy and professionalism in a sensitive community environment
• A proactive approach and the confidence to work autonomously
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
• Local or regional property market knowledge will be highly regarded
