We're looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager / Delivery Lead to lead a major enterprise retail technology program in Melbourne.
You'll take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of a next-generation Point of Sale and unified commerce platform, acting as the key link between the customer, technology delivery teams and third-party partners.
The program will progress from discovery and solution definition through build, pilot and implementation, giving you ownership across the full delivery lifecycle.
What you'll be doing
You'll be joining a highly visible program requiring someone who can bring structure to complexity, confidently manage senior stakeholders and maintain strong commercial and delivery discipline throughout.
You'll take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of a next-generation Point of Sale and unified commerce platform, acting as the key link between the customer, technology delivery teams and third-party partners.
The program will progress from discovery and solution definition through build, pilot and implementation, giving you ownership across the full delivery lifecycle.
What you'll be doing
- Own delivery across scope, schedule, budget, quality and resourcing
- Establish and manage project governance, SteerCos, reporting, RAID and change control
- Coordinate structured discovery, requirements and solution design workshops
- Manage senior customer stakeholders and executive-level communications
- Build and maintain integrated delivery plans, milestones and dependencies
- Coordinate internal technical teams, third-party vendors and implementation partners
- Manage project financials, SOW deliverables and commercial change requests
- Lead delivery through solution definition, build, configuration, UAT and pilot deployment
- Manage risks, issues and escalation pathways
- Coordinate transition into ongoing support following implementation
- 8+ years' experience delivering large-scale enterprise technology programs
- Strong end-to-end project or program delivery experience
- Experience delivering customer-facing professional services or complex technology implementations
- Strong governance, RAID, executive reporting and stakeholder management capability
- Commercial experience managing budgets, SOWs and change requests
- Experience coordinating third-party vendors and multidisciplinary technology teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent experience/certification
