Join a dynamic team as a Senior Payroll Processor and play a critical role in managing complex payroll operations for a fast-paced organization. This position offers the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment in San Jose or remotely, supporting a multi-state and international payroll process that includes Canada and the US. If you possess hands-on experience with UKG Pro and thrive in independent roles with manual payroll setups, this is your chance to make a significant impact during a pivotal time of transition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing using UKG Pro for approximately 600 employees across US and Canada.
- Handle bi-weekly payroll cycles, including recurring off-cycle payments.

Required Skills:
- Extensive hands-on experience with UKG Pro payroll processing (not just implementation or HR admin).
- Strong understanding of multi-state US and Canadian payroll regulations and compliance.

- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with payroll in a hybrid or remote setup.

- Prior experience in fast-growing or start-up environments.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Prior payroll processing experience in a similar role with 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience supporting a company with multiple payroll jurisdictions.
- High college or professional certification in payroll, accounting, or related field is a plus.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to start immediately, ideally within the next week.
- Must be able to work PST hours.
- This role can be onsite in San Jose (hybrid schedule) or fully remote with reliable internet connection and access to the PST timezone.
This is an excellent opportunity for seasoned payroll professionals with UKG Pro expertise looking to apply their skills in a crucial, independent role within a growing organization.
