Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operation of the care home, ensuring a safe, welcoming and high-quality environment.
- Maintain strong clinical standards across hospital-level and dementia care.
- Lead quality, compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Oversee budgets, occupancy, staffing and resource planning.
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, staff and the wider community.
- Recruit, coach and develop a high-performing multidisciplinary team.
- Maintain your RN competency and provide clinical leadership and oversight as required.
- Current NZ Registered Nurse with a valid APC.
- Proven leadership experience within aged residential care.
- Experience within hospital-level and/or dementia care environments.
- Strong understanding of aged-care standards, quality systems and compliance.
- Sound operational and financial management capability.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to lead teams, manage change and build a positive workplace culture.
- Commitment to culturally safe care and working effectively with diverse communities.
