We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead procurement and contract activities for a high-profile, schedule-driven industrial project.This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, including WFH, with occasional site visits.

You will lead a small procurement and contracts team, coordinate procurement services and provide commercial guidance to ensure procurement activities support project delivery, timelines and commercial objectives within a complex joint venture environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee procurement and contract management activities across the project lifecycle.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project schedules and delivery objectives.
- Manage and mentor a small procurement and contracts team.
- Oversee tendering, sourcing, negotiations, evaluations and contract awards.
- Manage contractor and supplier relationships to ensure contractual and commercial obligations are met.
- Lead claims management, commercial negotiations and dispute resolution activities.
- Identify and mitigate procurement, contractual and commercial risks.
- Coordinate with engineering, project controls, construction and commercial stakeholders.
- Ensure procurement activities are delivered efficiently within a schedule-driven project environment.
- Maintain effective procurement governance, documentation and reporting.
- Support senior project stakeholders with commercial and procurement advice.
You will have:
- Strong procurement and contract management experience.
- Proven claims management and dispute resolution capability.
- Demonstrated experience leading procurement or contracts teams.
- Experience working within EPCM project environments.
- Strong negotiation, stakeholder engagement and commercial skills.
- The ability to manage competing priorities within schedule-driven projects.
- Experience operating within complex industrial, energy, manufacturing, resources or infrastructure environments.
- Previous experience working within joint venture project environments.
- Experience delivering procurement services on large-scale or complex industrial projects.
- Exposure to major capital projects and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience managing procurement and contracts across major projects.
- Previous experience leading procurement teams in an EPCM, industrial, energy, resources or infrastructure environment.
