Team Leader A Crew

Nesco Resource is currently sourcing for experienced Team Leaders for our automotive manufacturing client in Dearborn, Michigan.

Position: Production Team Lead
Location: Dearborn, MI

Shift: A Crew – Monday through Thursday, 4:00 AM to 2:45 PM, with overtime on Sundays as needed

Pay Rate: $20.60/hour

Position Summary:

The Team Leader is responsible for overseeing daily production operations while providing leadership, direction, and support to production associates. This role ensures safety, quality, productivity, and attendance standards are met while helping the team achieve daily production goals in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.

Job Duties Include:

• Lead and support production employees throughout the shift

• Coordinate daily workflow to ensure production schedules are met

• Monitor productivity, quality, and safety standards

• Train, coach, and assist team members as needed

• Communicate production expectations and resolve day-to-day issues

• Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment

• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety procedures

• Work closely with supervisors and other departments to meet production goals

• Assist with troubleshooting production concerns and implementing solutions

• Lead by example through professionalism, reliability, and strong work ethic

Skills/Qualifications:

• Previous manufacturing or automotive production experience preferred

• Prior Team Lead, Lead Operator, or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to motivate and direct employees while maintaining productivity and quality standards

• Strong attendance record and dependable work history

• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment

• Experience with safety, quality, and production processes

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
