Part-Time Health & Safety Advisor

Position: Permanent

Salary: Open to Negotiations

On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced Health & Safety professional with a strong construction background to help them strengthen and develop their Health & Safety systems across their business.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys putting structure in place, improving processes and making a real difference — without the need to be on site every day.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and improve their Health & Safety policies, procedures and systems.
  • Provide practical H&S support to management.
  • Review Risk Assessments, Method Statements and site documentation.
  • Carry out occasional site inspections and audits.
  • Identify risks and ensure actions are followed through.
  • Support incident/accident investigations and safety training.
  • Help build a strong, practical and proactive Health & Safety culture.

Requirements:

  • Proven Health & Safety experience within the construction industry.
  • Strong practical knowledge of construction site safety.
  • Experience putting H&S systems, policies and procedures in place.
  • Confident, organised and able to work independently.
  • A practical, solutions-focused approach.
  • Excellent communication skills and the confidence to work with management and site teams.
