A fast-growing, internationally recognised independent luxury watch brand is hiring a Supply Chain Manager / Manufacturing Lead to take ownership of end-to-end manufacturing operations across the Greater Bay Area. This is a highly hands-on role for someone who knows mechanical watch production deeply and can lead suppliers, timelines, quality, and new product development with confidence.

What you’ll do

Own production across multiple watch series: from component manufacturing through to final assembly

Manage supplier relationships as the primary point of contact (cases, dials, hands, bracelets, movements, assembly partners)

Source, qualify and onboard new suppliers for new launches and continuous product improvement

Drive manufacturing-side NPD: prototyping, sampling, tooling, tolerances, and sign-off gates

Build and manage production plans to support launches and replenishment

Negotiate quotes, MOQs, lead times and payment terms; manage POs and supplier contracts

Conduct factory audits and stage-by-stage quality control

Coordinate cross-border flows between China and overseas partners where needed

Protect IP with suppliers (NDAs, tooling/mould ownership, overrun control)

Support after-sales operations through spare parts planning and manufacturing support

What we’re looking for (must-have)

8+ years in supply chain / production / manufacturing management within mechanical watches in China

Strong hands-on experience at component and/or assembly level

Native-level Mandarin and professional English

Comfortable owning the function autonomously in a lean, entrepreneurial environment

Willing to travel frequently (typically weekly) to factories across Guangdong, with occasional Hong Kong travel

Strong supplier management mindset: accountability, transparency, and delivery focus

Experience in premium / luxury brands would be preferred

Location & working model

Based in the Greater Bay Area (e.g., Hong Kong / Shenzhen / Dongguan / Guangzhou / ...)

Flexible working model; regular supplier visits are essential
