Apply directLove a role that’s both strategic and creative? This well-established national professional association is looking for a hands-on marketer who can think and do, working in a remote working team.
As Content & Communications Manager, you'll own the content, email and social program that keeps members and the wider industry engaged.Reporting to the Head of Operations, you'll build and run the content calendar, content strategy and EDM strategy. You’ll develop the monthly member newsletter, social posts, website landing pages, articles, case studies, member interviews and some thought leadership articles. You'll plan and deliver campaigns across membership, professional development, events and partnerships. For major campaigns you'll brief an external designer, and you'll work within established brand guidelines and templates. You'll also play a big part in rolling out HubSpot as the new CRM, setting up automated journeys and segmented follow-ups, such as communications after webinars and masterclasses, and putting AI tools to work. Day to day, you'll manage the paid social agency and media partners and own reporting on campaign metrics.
To succeed in this role, you'll need at least five years' experience working across content, Digital and email. Above all, you'll be an outstanding writer who can adapt to a brand's tone of voice and produce copy that sounds like a person wrote it. You'll be a Digital native with an AI-first mindset and enough technical understanding to make the most of a CRM rollout. You'll also bring hands-on experience building EDMs (ideally in HubSpot) and working in WordPress, a good eye for design, and confidence producing assets in Canva. Membership or association experience would be a bonus but isn't essential. Most importantly, you'll be proactive and energetic, commercially minded and resourceful enough to move quickly from idea to execution.
This organisation supports professionals throughout their careers with development programs, accreditation, events and thought-leadership, and is entering an exciting new chapter. The team is small and collaborative, so good ideas get to market quickly without layers of approval, and you'll work alongside respected practitioners and industry leaders. The role is primarily work from home, with occasional face-to-face meetings and events in Sydney or Melbourne.
If you're a strong writer who likes getting things done and wants the flexibility of working from home, we'd love to hear from you.
