You will play a key part in managing payroll for a diverse employee base, handling complex equity transactions, and optimizing payroll systems to deliver accuracy, compliance, and exceptional service.

What You’ll Do:

• Process semi-monthly and monthly payroll cycles across the U.S., UK, Canada, France, and Brazil via external and local payroll providers, ensuring flawless execution and compliance.
• Manage equity payroll activities, including RSU vesting and stock option exercises, particularly with increased volume following the company’s recent public offering.
• Collaborate with People, Finance, and external vendors to validate employee data, reconcile reports, and resolve discrepancies.
• Support month-end close, payroll account reconciliations, and internal/external audits.
• Monitor global payroll legislation changes and implement updates to processes and systems.
• Maintain detailed payroll records, standard operating procedures, and ensure all transactions adhere to internal controls.
• Provide prompt, professional support to employee payroll inquiries, fostering a positive payroll experience.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience in payroll processing within a multinational, publicly traded organization.
• Hands-on expertise with equity transactions, RSU vesting, and stock option exercises.
• Strong background in managing payroll globally, especially in the U.S., UK, and other international markets.
• Proficiency with payroll systems, with UKG experience highly preferred, including BI report creation.
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, pivot tables, Power Query, VBA a plus).
• In-depth knowledge of payroll tax regulations, compliance standards, and payroll accounting (month-end close, reconciliations, audits).
• Exceptional attention to detail, confidentiality, and data integrity.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with payroll reporting tools and HRIS platforms beyond UKG.
• Familiarity with UK pensions and international payroll nuances.
• Knowledgeable in payroll system optimization and process improvement.
• Previous experience working with multi-country payroll vendors and external providers.

Preferred Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of payroll processing experience, preferably within public or multinational corporations.
