An exciting opportunity has become available for an Investment Governance professional to join a highly regarded financial services organisation. Working within a collaborative and client-facing investment team, you'll play a key role in the governance, due diligence and oversight of managed funds, managed accounts and investment managers.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of investments, funds management and investment governance who enjoys working with a broad range of stakeholders across the investment industry.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct investment and operational due diligence on fund managers, investment advisers and managed funds.
- Lead onboarding activities for new investment products and portfolios.
- Prepare investment governance reports and recommendations for Investment Committee meetings.
- Undertake ongoing monitoring of investment managers and investment products.
- Attend and contribute to Investment Committee meetings and governance forums.
- Liaise with investment managers, platforms, advisers and internal stakeholders on governance and product matters.
- Review investment documentation including mandates, governance documents and disclosure material.
- Support the continuous improvement of investment governance frameworks, policies and processes.
- Work closely with product, operations and compliance teams to ensure successful implementation of investment decisions.
- 4+ years' experience within investment governance, investment due diligence, investment consulting or a related funds management environment.
- Strong understanding of investment markets, managed funds, asset allocation and portfolio construction.
- Experience conducting investment and/or operational due diligence.
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to prepare high-quality reports and recommendations.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the confidence to engage with investment managers, advisers and senior stakeholders.
- A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail.
- Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Business, Commerce or a related discipline.
- RG146 accreditation will be viewed favourably.
