Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading Indonesian manufacturing. As expansion continues, our client is seeking a professional with at least 10 years’ experience in business development for the job of Business Development Manager. The job is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Key job responsibilities include: 

• Report directly to the GM
• Act as the primary liaison between Indonesian teams and Chinese business partners. Facilitate daily communication through meetings, emails, calls, and online platforms; ensure accurate interpretation and communication of business requirements, operational updates, and project progress; and support management in maintaining strong relationships with Chinese stakeholders.
• Provide verbal interpretation during meetings, conference calls, and business visits; and translate business documents, reports, contracts, presentations, and correspondence between Mandarin and Indonesian/English accurately while maintaining business context and cultural nuances.
• Coordinate communication and follow-up actions between local departments and China-based partners;
• Monitor action items and ensure timely completion by relevant stakeholders; and escalate issues and communication gaps when necessary.
• Support cross-border projects involving Indonesian operations and Chinese partners; assist in project tracking, progress reporting, and issue resolution; and prepare meeting minutes and reports.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Marketing or any relevant education background, Master Degree background will be an advantage
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a coordination, customer service, business support, supply chain, procurement, or liaison role.
• Experience working with Chinese companies, suppliers, customers, or stakeholders is preferred
• Energetic, confident, positive thinking can balance various task and deliver outstanding results, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good in English and Mandarin(oral and written) and computer literate
• Able to make a presentation and target oriented
• Able to work in team, have a good leadership and excellent selling skills
