The Position
  • Due to several recent projects awarded and a strategic plan for growth, they are now presenting an opportunity for a Contracts Administrator to step up into a Junior Project Manager with a solid work history to join them in a long-term capacity.
  • Senior Contract Administrator / Contract Manager ready to step up into Project Manager.
  • Govt Community Style Project - $20M health Project
  • Available immediately (or ASAP)
  • Will be responsible for managing 1 x CA, and interface with 1 x Cadet
  • Responsible for Monthly forecasting, experience
  • Solid Contracts and Commercial experience to lead the CA’s and Cadet through the procurement and general Contract Administration
  • Once the project is up and running the project director will pass complete control over to the you as the Project Manager
The Person
  • Proven track record in Contract Admin/Manager role.
  • Strong financial & commercial skill set.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experienced with solid company systems & procedure.
  • Future leader / mentoring younger CA team members.
  • Experience on Government and Institutional Projects
  • Not interested in Residential Builder / Apartment Contractors.
  • Must be ambitious - person looking to extend supervision in due course across several teams (career path to become Senior Project Manager for NSW business for right person).
  • Must have stable employment record and tenure with similar 2nd or 3rd tier Construction Firms.
  • Similar project experience Government / Institutional / Commercial up to $40M.
  • Looking for people who have worked for 5yrs+ with the same organisation.
